I got one. My first smartphone. I don't think of it as either smart nor a phone. I think of it as a mini computer that happens to double as my phone. Pretty slick. Managing to make it work with only a 200MB plan due to wifi connection. Camera still isn't a P&S replacement. I'm actually surprised the quality on even the best smartphones isn't better yet. Glad I got it, I dig what Android is doing.
the specs on that are crazy. And, if you want an android, Samsung and Motorola and HTC will be forced to release next years phone now. Basically, better specs than the iphone in a cheap plastic case. I really don't like the current crop of tablet sized phones (like the nexus / droid x size) because I want a phone that can fit in my pocket.
For me to be happy:
4"ish diagonal
4G
dual core 1.2 (but the new ones should be quad core)
I like android a little more than ios because you can do more tinkering and the contact management is better, but the ios camera is better if you care about that.
FM tuner would be sweet
replaceable battery that should last two days
