Scythe for the Corn Harvest

What is your preferred tool for harvesting spring corn?  Fatter or thinner?

As edge grip isn't a big issue, and the ability to blast through piles at speed is a plus, I'm looking forward to taking out the El Capos next week.

I like my 2003 salomon xscream series for corn snow. Then again, I like them for all conditions. They're awesome
