Secret Button

This was Coach's idea and I thought it was interesting.  I spoke to the developer, basically asking if it was possible. Apparently it is, as it has been enacted.  Since it's done, I'm going to see how it goes.

No secret that I'm not happy with the forum software.  I'm tired of promising an upgrade by a specific date, so I won't. But I sincerely hope that by next June we'll have something better.  That said, very few forums even have a "topics view" (ie secret button), so that feature will probably be gone.

Almost all forum software has a 'secret button'... been usin' 'em for years...

Some are called 'view active topics' or 'recent posts'.

I'll have to look more closely. Haven't noticed it on TGR, AZ or Adkforum.

It's likely we'll go with BuddyPress, which plays nice with WordPress (the rest of the site). I haven't seen the feature in BP, but will look further.

Now we have to sign in 3 times just to view off topic section? This sucks.

i thought i was the only one -- signing in a bunch of times for OT is no good.

Thanks for pointing this out. Not sure what is going on, based on timing it makes sense that it is related to the secret button. Usually when shit is weird with nabble it's a cookies/cache thing, and clearing cookies "solves" it.  Did a temp hack that could work (tbd), will take it up with support.
