Ski Bowl Village

A few weeks ago, the "Chronicle," one of the free newspapers (wood stove kindling) that we pick up at the Grand Union in North Creek, had an article that 4 condos at the Front Street/Ski Bowl Village development were under contract. No other free paper covered it AFAIK.

Does anybody know anything else about this?

Not true. They cannot advertise or convey until they finish the waste water treatment system, and receive their final approvals from the dept of health, dec, apa, and town of Johnsburg.

The Chronicle may have picked up on the info from a mis-statement made by Exec Director at the APA. At their last meeting they were discussing the status of FS. Terry Martino, Exec Dir was asked about how the development was going and she made some inane comment like, " oh, they are on schedule, all the units in the 2 duplexes are spoken for and the development is 10 or 20 percent complete" or something ridiculous like that.

Yes. Unfortunately,Terry mistakenly characterized the progress as 10-20%. Nowhere near. Given the large number of homes, condos and hotel rooms the progress hasn't broken 1%!  The comment that the 4 homes are "spoken for" is a direct quote from the developer.
