Re: Ski Day Tracking Thread 2017-2018

I'm into Ski day tracking as well.

And, I beg to differ with you XC ski naysayers.  An hour of hard XC skiing is definitely a ski day in my book.  Uses a whole hell of a lot more muscle strength than lapping groomers for 3-4 hours, not to mention the mental health benefits of being alone or with a buddy in the woods.

I'm posting a ski day tracking thread.  You all can ignore it if you like, or join in, I like counting my days.
I was keeping track on a napkin, figure I might as well post it, so I know where it is. I don't really care if someone thinks it's stupid.

Re: Ski Day Tracking Thread 2017-2018

The last few years I’ve kept track on my phone in the notes app. All skiing counts. An hour of night skiing, Xc, a single run... if you ski it counts as a ski day.

Re: Ski Day Tracking Thread 2017-2018

I just added mine up for the season. Not bad considering we were working on a kitchen renovation (DIY) till just before New Years. I have at least 10 more days on my radar. Not bad for a working stiff. Not sure how I forgot Platty. Fixed it. Ski3 pass for me this year. Will get some days in Colorado as we are going out for USASA Nationals.

Gore - 38
Whiteface - 2
Platty - 1

Re: Ski Day Tracking Thread 2017-2018

Nice Peter.  Danzilla I thought you had some kind of fancy pass?

By some miracle it looks like I will get 30 days, 35 is always my goal.

Here's my list quoted from the first post. It's got most of what I look for lift-served, nordic, great birthday, pow and a new mountain.  So far at least eight of my days have been incredible.  And I DIG Magic.

Re: Ski Day Tracking Thread 2017-2018

Would love to get 35 days in again.  Between work and the banana belt, it's a challenge.  Know plenty of xc skiers with 80-100 days/year.
