Can someone calculate the benefit in $ if you charge a Tesla by solar panels on your house?

I know 4 pp with Teslas
One charges with solar the others don’t
The ones with out do not notice a appreciable increase in their electric bill

You leave a 500 lb plow attached to your truck when you go skiing?

How's that thing do with gas mileage?
I almost never leave the plow attached when I'm driving anywhere that I don't need the plow. I'm just saying that if I was driving through DEEP snow to get from my house to Plattekill, I would consider leaving it on.

Plow off I get about 18 MPG highway during winter months 20+ during the summer.
I'll take boilerplate ice over wet snow any day

Saw this as I was leaving Greek Peak today. I didn't get there in time to get a pic of the skis strapped to the sissy bar.

According to articles Tesla gets 2.91 mi/KWhr. Look at your electric bill and see your total rate (power + distribution) and that would approximately tell you your savings if you were charging with solar rather than off the grid, but that does not include the cost of the panels.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

Nice Scott! Those things are cool for sure. Are you willing to provide some interior pics? Also, what year is it? Also, how many lug nuts on the rear?

I would also like to see interior pics.

Also, we have a different thread for this kind of thing:

I bought the camper on eBay. It’s a ‘93 six cylinder. The undercarriage is clean . It lived most of its life in California. The bad part is a saggy roof. It’s dry inside and odor free by I might have to take the top if and redo it.

Looks pretty clean and ‘93 is probably the last year they made them- or close to it. Definitely after they fixed the rear axle problem. And the six cylinder will help a lot. Looks like a good score, Scott. Congrats, bro!
