Snowkite

Has anyone out there tried this?
From what I've learned it's being done somewhere near Tupper Lake.
It's supposed to be a big thing in Norway.
Looks like something that can be fun almost anywhere there's some snow and wind.

I saw a kid doing it in the field between the academic building and dorms when I was going to UB. Looked fun.

I know a handful of people that kite both on the snow and also kiteboard on the bigger area lakes on windy days.  I have not done it myself but they all swear by it, one day i'll be I the right place at the right time

The sport of snowkite may obsolete chair lifts one day. Imagine up lanes and down lanes.
