A good friend of mine goes to Tech and none of his friends are skiers. And his skis are here in NY. If I had some money to spare and didn't have to work this weekend, I'd seriously consider going to visit him.

Snowshoe got 230 inches in 09-10.

Wonder if the recent weather patterns, aka the midAtlantic getting hammered w/snow, will continue. Seems like they tend to get more snow than we do, not sure.

this seems to happen every year. the southern boys seem to get the first snow and Beech is the first area to start blowing snow..

this was a prime example of " anything can happen under a cut of low"...
Most of Snowshoes snow comes from lake effect..
