Storm Speculation: 1/24/15

Coastal storm on Saturday could bring big snows......to NJ, SE NY and CT.

Powder day with 'Loco at Mountain Crick?  Slay some freshies with Pow Ass at Thunder Ridge?  Ski Sundown could be the place to be.

Maybe plattekill if they call for enough.

There's a chance of snow from Plattekill to Hunter to Mass and SoVT.

Hey this is trending further inland with each run......

I feel like things move west more than they move east when they've gotten to this point. But that could be because I don't think much about the lows that go out to sea.

Actually the NAM has jogged a bit to the East..Either way a minor event for the cats..

Looks like Plattekill was the Catskill winner with 6 inches. Anyone ski it?

It was pretty dam good on Saturday. I think we did just about every trail on mountain. Had 2 first timers with us who were a little reluctant to go "off book" but very happy after.

Sorry no pics of I think 3-5" of powder but we were busy having fun.

Did any Mountains get more than 10 inches?  That's what Vernon, NJ got.  It was really heavy and wet later on.  Eventually all the powder got packed down into an uneven sticky surface that was rock hard, but edgeable.  Never skied in anything like it before.
