Ended up in the Stowe area today on my way to a work destination...almost pulled the plug on the plan due to rain all the way to the parking lot, but it transitioned to mix/snow/then all snow just at the right time to pull this off. Original plan was to summit the chin and drink a beer on a sunny spring day but today’s weather reduced that to just going to top of Gondi, but turned out to be a great ski out on .75” of pow. Snowing pretty good through the climb.
Stowe has a really lenient uphill policy which is nice.
Skiing is not a sport, it is a way of life.
