Swedish Bachelor Party

Anyone ever been to one?  Me neither until tonight.

Im at Garnet Hill Lodge. All these tall swedish guys are walking around very dignified really.

One guy says to the bartender "in Sweden we dont get drunk, we try to do something educational.  On this trip we are rafting."

Every ten minutes one comes in and ask for 4 bottles of red wine.  Whatever kind is fine.  There is also a conga line or waitstaff coming back with empty wine and beer bottles.  I don't the where the beer is coming from.  Seems like they can really hold their booze.

Whole thing is somewhat entertaining I have to say.

I'm friends with a bunch of Swedish dudes from a previous job.   I've been there a few times.
They love to drink..  Beer mainly.   Good partiers.  Lot's of fun!  

Funny thing is - most people i know in Sweden don't actually get married anymore.  

Maybe they were celebrating someone not getting married?

my wife has worked for a swedish bank for almost 20 yrs

no one gets married , no religion, they drink and party and for the most part are happy..

sounds like they might have it figured out...

Gotta figure out some way to be happy when the sun goes down and your country is dark for half a year.
