Syrian Refugee Crisis: Europe Steps Up

The stories of families who have basically walked from Syria to Austria are really moving. And the response from Austria and Germany is incredible.

I'm sure this situation will be loaded with problems.  But the alternative is... what?

That, my friends, is the alternative.

Horrible situation , Germany and Austria deserve credit for their efforts and have lead by example rather tha rhetoric . hard to imagine the kind of squalor that those poor people faced in the camps ansd the even more terrifying conditions they endured at home ..

Man's  continual  inhumanity to man is  unfortunately a constant in the region ..very sad
