Terrain parks

Does anyone remember a time before terrain parks?  Did there used a to be a bunch of jumps and drops built on the edges of the trails and under the lifts?  That's how our hills used to be.  I miss those days.  Not sure it was very safe though.

Let me guess?  No one jumps their skis.
