Ted Liegity was quoted as saying Andrew is always the fastest for 20 secs of every race.  This time he pulled it out.

He is always fast, he just needs to be healthy. Great run.

For all those who are proud of our athletes like Andrew, the should realize that when their mountain blocks off a trail for the racers, somewhere in that group might be another Andrew. People grumble about the race kids carving a high speed line down their favorite trail, these kids need to be confident at speed - one or two amongst them might be the next Andrew in 2018 or 2022. When I see them carving those high speed perfect turns down a trail I smile. I also know you will rarely if ever find them in my favorite glade or slide, for that I smile more.

That was fun to watch, he really put a great run together. Was great to see how happy he and the rest of the U.S. team was for him.

Bode skied incredible as well. He's gotta be one of the only dudes who can make 2 mistakes and still get a medal.
