Sunday was a beautiful day to ride
![]() |
Went for a retreat over the high-country... rode from my house to Ellensburg via an area called the Collockum wilderness. From Ellensburg went up over Blewet Pass back through the Wenatchee Valley back up to my house. Covered about 150 miles over 2 days, mostly on forest road gravel and double track. Saw tons of Elk and a bit of snow.
Ascending to the Colockum at the end of Day 1 ![]() Patchy snow at 5k. I topped out at 5750... There were larger piles in some areas, but completely passable the whole way. ![]() Balsam Root ![]() Cattle are everywhere in the forest this time of year ![]() Wind Farm from camp on Day 2... Rainier in the distance ![]() |
Looks awesome NEPA.
I haven’t tried bike packing yet. Being that I camp 8 days every two weeks for work I sort of struggle to camp on my days off. |

If you're in the area come join the CNY Freeride Team for some fun.

We've had a bit of rain lately. Since there was no bridge to get to the bridge, I decided to turn around at this point.
