V-day Morning Tour

We got an inch or 2 of snow so I was in the woods by 6:45 this morning before work.  Met up with a buddy, who was on snowshoes and had his dog out with him.  Any day that you can see the sun rise above the Horizon while on skis is a great one in my book!!!  With the r*%^, the snowpack was a bit hard to navigate on some of the trails that had frozen footprints, but the it also condensed so it was easier when on fresh snow than it was on Saturday right after the storm.

Nope, just our local village reservoir.....about 25 miles north of midtown Manhattan.  

I got out again this morning for an hour.  Snowpack was hard and fast!!

Saw the sunrise on skis....you know its going to be a good day when that happens!!
