WHITEFACE 12-24-2010

I heard Gore was all boilerplate on Thursday, so I went to WF today instead...



it was the right move...



Skyward opened today and it was pretty incredible...



powder down the left and right side...  



lapped it 3 times and met non other than Joel from Avant skies (in white helmet) on the summit chair...



he was riding some of his own sweet looking skis, which have some really cool aluminum inlays...



those look sharp!  More good snow..



everyone i heard talking was absolutely loving Skyward.. "That was Awesome!!!"  "Run of the day!!"  "Let's do it again"



My legs could only handle 3 Skyward runs today, so then I did a few off face lift before heading out, which were also good.  Should be a great weekend.. Enjoy!

Nice report, great pics.  What kind of camera are you shooting with?  I especially like those first three photos above.  May make it up to the Face this coming week.

Hey Jeff, thanks.  I just have an older Canon Elph SD600 6 megapixel.  The first two pics were in widescreen mode, the 3rd pic was normal.  Those pics were all Mother Nature!  Josh.

Thx Josh, still looking to replace my camera.  

Whiteface picked up 7 inches of snow last night according to the website.
