Nick Z is an up-and-coming snowmaker himself. He actually won a contest last year sponsored by a company called SNOWatHOME, that included a significant cash prize.  He part of a big Gore/Whiteface family that rips.

Hey Nick... if the Gore reservoir was full, and it was being pumped at full capacity, with no replenishment, how long before it would run dry?  How many gallons does it hold?

I think mike said around 3 hours at full pumping capicity, but dont quote me on that. I do Believe that once the reservoir gets to a certian water level that water automatically begins to pump from the hudson and that must travel up through the ski bowl and along the pipeline trail to get there. However, as I recall, a good bit of the water that winds up at the end of the lines windes back up at the reservoir.
