Like for good to live with the old folk?
Its hot as hell in Phoenix and I don't like that area. Flagstaff is nice and has skiing. My parents live in Green Valley in the high dessert south of Tucson at 3500 feet elevation. Its not as hot there and there are some nice areas around there. About 45 mins from my parents is the Napa Valley of AZ where they make some surprisingly good wine at 7000 feet elevation. I usually go visit my parents either in May or November. Going to play some golf there in 4 weeks with my dad. Temps will be around 70 during the day and 45 at night with zero humidity.
Eventually I will end up with a house there and have considered keeping it and getting a place in Utah or Driggs ID so I would have two climates about a days drive apart to retire in.
