West Point Ski Area

How many of you know about this place.  It used to only open to people in the military, those who were in it, West Point Cadets, and their families.  Now it is open to the public on Fridays.

A friend of mine who teaches in West Point told me about it 3 or 4 years ago. A small operation. But, hey....it's sliding on snow. And sliding on snow always beats not sliding on snow. Looking forward to your trip report if you do get out there.

I heard that the high school GS races will be held there this season..

The aspect and view are both second to none at that hill.

i will definitely check it out..i live under 1/2 from there..
