What's up at Hickory?

Anybody hear anything now that it finally snowed? I've got two Groupon tickets burning a hole in my phone, ready to go.

I heard that there is a delay in getting approval for the lift to operate...

Two barriers: We picked up 12-14" out of this storm but still could use another 10" or so to cover the boulders. And as Mattchuck mentioned, we are awaiting inspection on our lifts. Poma 1 is currently ready to rock. T-bar still needs an update.

They need more snow for sure.  Skinned up with the lady after we left Gore yesterday.  Lower mtn is fine, but up top it was pretty bony.  Took a run in PP, first section was good, we bailed about 1/2 down, thin with all the tree cover.  Winfall took a beating from the wind so we decided on Upper Hare- was good, lower needs about a foot more snow.  Lots of new scratches in the tools.  Beautiful up there.

One day, I'll ride hickory when it's open.
