Hahaha I got owned. I read the first page of this thread thinking it was new and got all excited. :(

Ausable Skier - thanks for the great photos.  Really nice. You can also see the widened slides (3-4) in a few of those images.

I will break this thread into two thread (2010-2011 and 2011-2012) to avoid confusion as noted by miker92. (I already did that with the Gore snowmaking thread.)

i was driving by the mt again today and they now have valley covered all the way across with no brown spots visable from the road - didn't have time to stop to take a photo today - its looks good especially if we get the 4-8" the weather guessers are promising

yesterday word was that WF would just open the facelift friday but now I heard that they will open the gondi and excelsior

From the gondi its 2450 vert feet and about a 1.5 miles of skiing - has to be the most open vert in the east - I'm sure Kmart will have way more trails but more people too

I guess its not a done deal based on the WF web site but usually if they post it like this they expect to happen
