Whiteface World Cup downhill race(s) ?

Ok, here is a question straight from Zigzag.  Everyone knows about the 1980 Olympic downhill at Whiteface, but I'm curious if Whiteface ever hosted another World Cup downhill race before or after Leonhard's big day.  Actually for that matter, has any Eastern mountain(Quebec included) ever hosted a World Cup downhill race?  I couldn't find any events via google.

The year before in 1979, the women skied DH and the men did both DH and GS.

Thanks!  Funny that Leonhard Stock was 4th for that race but was considered a complete surprise winner the next year.

Crazy footage from that race towards the end.  Leonardo David Italian skier collapses at the end of the race.  He never recovered.  Sad story.....
