Windham ran a TV commercial last night advertising the upcoming Mtn Bike World Cup Festival. It truly looks pretty rockin, tons going on and appears to be cheap to go to, 10 pesos to park, free admission. Pre events run July 5th-8th with the main events being July 9th-10th.

Anybody can race DH or XC

There's concerts, fireworks, fire stunt shows, block party, bike expos a whole bunch of stuff.

Contrast this to our other thread about Gore/NC summer activities......Gore/NC is REALLY missing the boat! OMG!!!  Some of these Mtns seem to be generating quite a bit of summer activity.

Just saw on the news Holiday Valley now has a Sky High Adventure Park and they're building a mtn coaster.

I'm starting to get an opinion that Gore/NC and Belle would fare much, much better if they left ORDA and went out on their own in some fashion.
