Last year Rebecca on Facebook nailed every storm like 90 percent..
Nah, she just has a lot of tricks she uses to make people think that (updates forecasts at the very last minute, gives a wide range of outcomes, always starts recaps with "just like I predicted").
She's no better or worse than everyone else out there, but I do appreciate how she puts every map on her Facebook page so I don't have to do the work to search myself.
She's doing it again. Update at 11:44 last night:
Right now the storm is doing what I expected......but major storms bring some surprises, I'm sure this one will have some too.
The storm will come in two parts …. The primary will bring snow, ice, and rain. Then the coastal will bring more in the way of same. I will try to make a couple of maps tomorrow with snow and ice amounts. But here are snowfall amount probabilities through Sunday from the WPC/NWS.
Like I said, it's cool that she gathers maps together. It's not so cool that she waits until the last second to make her predictions, then couches everything with "just as I predicted..."
