skiing Gore 12/10??

TomCat
Does anyone have a feeling for how the mountain made out and whether they will be able open some additional terrain? I called Gore this morning and they were not able to provide any info other than they plan to open tomorrow. Thanks.

They started blowing last night, and will continue around the clock as long as temps hold. We received about 1-2" of light snow. I would expect this weekend to offer this same terrain as last weekend, but it should improve through the weekend, as opposed to deteriorating like last week. I will post a report of conditions tomorrow afternoon.
The clock is running fast on Christmas week, and the snowmakers will be workin' their butts off, so when you see 'em on the sides of the trail, give them a thumbs up
Gotta go to know

True dat.

Gore didn't lose much in the NCP and gained a little afterward.  Tomorrow will be Jamboree only, so that the snowguns can be kept where they need to be.

To address the original question Saturday (12/10), the plan is to reopen last weekends terrain Foxlair, Upper Sunway, Quicksilver, 3B to Jambo.

There's a good possibility that Lower Sunway will come online on Sunday.

According to the web site they will b chugging $55.00 for an adult ticket. Seems outrageous for one trail. Maybe I'll wait another week.
