did a bike ride around the thurman/athol area today including dippkill rd, south johnsburg, and river road. there were considerable number of downed trees from this thursday's big storm. i always worry that the glades will be in rough shape after these storms. now that the summer gondola is running, i will hopefully start touring the glades to inspect for damage.
