Every Friday,
We head out of the city;
To escape the hustle and bustle,
And to find our little piece of serenity.

This weekend is no different.
We are especially excited,
Because we are headed to Gore Mountain,
A place we have not skied in many years.

It truly is a beautiful place.
By taking just a short Gondola from the base,
You find yourself,
In the middle of the Adirondack Park.

It is a place,
To lose oneself in its tranquility.
Those that find it,
Know the feeling.

You return.
Even if just for a little while,
To get that feeling once again,
Of Peaceful Valley.

Nicely done , Gore is special !!   love Tremblant and WF but Gore at this stage of my life is my fav

This was one of the best ski days of the season for me, one of the great days ever.  As Lori Phoebe mentioned in her comment on my blog post, I was on cloud nine at the end of the day, wide awake and singing all the way home.

The Albas are something to see. Ray filming, Alicia looking out for the kids on really steep terrain. Sandro attacking everything in sight and Nevada... making turns in bumps that were up to her chin.

It was a real treat to meet and ski with the Albas. They are so dedicated to each other, to skiing, and skiing as a family.  I hope to see you again soon. Be safe on the road tonight.

Was this the April fools joke or just bad editing or a poor sense of geography?

That guy with the fanny pack needs some custom made skis so he can get off his tails...

Oh man, sorry about that. Shoot. I need to fix that.. Not an easy fix. Ray

At least on top it does say Gore Mountain, NY.  My apologies. Working a full time job and us doing this as a hobby at late nights.  I feel bad by this mistake.

@Peetex - other than this minor mistake (I can't tell you how many mistakes are mentioned in the news everyday but, I assure you plenty) - what did you think of this edit, the story?  Just curious.

RaisingArizona - thank you .. It's a family effort  - seriously is. Even my 7 year old get involved. Next season we need to do something together.

I did not listen to the audio but I got the jist from the video, nice job! Just had to bust your chops a little. I love the threads you weaved through it. Looks like you really enjoy this - many more years of happiness for you and the kids.

Thanks PeeTex - but, the audio is more than half the battle. Selecting music, adjusting narration, tone.  Audio work is probably the hardest part.

Yep - I appreciate that. I have done a few AV presentations and have spent a lot of time on audio/video timing and effects. Music selection is hard too, I have terrible taste in music. I will listen to it when I have some time and I won't disturb the wife.

The Legend of Harvey Road.  It was fun to watch and remember what a nice day of skiing it turned out to be.  I can't imagine the effort put into doing these videos.  They are Impressive and we look forward to more of your work!
