Ant Marvel fans here? My kids were just the right age when Ironman came out so we’ve been on the train all along. It’s finally almost done-

Not me.  I’m the anti-superhero movie guy I guess, very much enjoying the Deadpool movies.

My son is going to the 11:00 showing of Endgame tonight....with his friends.

Juniors doing the same thing. We just brought a half dozen twelve year olds to an earlier show. We liked Deadpool also. I never watched a single x-men movie in a theater but I caught the first Deadpool on cable and ended going to the second one with my older kid

Yep.

I thought Infinity War/Endgame was a good wrap up (although I had some serious questions about their time travel theories).

And I also like the Deadpool movies because they take the piss out of common Marvel action movie tropes (which is definitely needed)

Yeah, at first it seemed like they might get it right but then they didn’t. I got my younger boy really pissed when I pointed that out

Not REALLY.  Throwing out Disney films Mary Poppins Returns (update of a classic) and Incredibles 2 (ok, kind of superhero movie?) the last 5 movies I’ve seen in the theatre were probably:

Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
The Disaster Artist
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I gave a hard NO to Mama Mia: Here We Go Again when my wife insisted!

The Incredibles was the first movie junior saw in a theater. I’m just about the perfect age to be a Star Wars freak plus I have the two boys so I saw all those Star Wars movies too. I think Rogue One was my favorite of the new ones. Objectively I can’t really argue that most of them are any good but I keep going back. Better then the prequels at least
