Halloween / Pumpkin Carving

Here's my raw material for this year. Anybody already carve the pumpkins yet? Ideas?

Why am I not surprised that you are awesome at pumpkin carving.  

Thanks Harv. Maybe it's cause I did this same thread last year? Of course my wife showed up with the giant in the background, mid project. No idea what to do with it.

Those are some quality pumpkins.  I like a nice smiler.

A buddy of mine has a big Halloween Party that I always skip but the night before (Friday this year) he has 5 or 6 of us over to carve 100 pumpkins.  I was bummed I had to miss it this year. It's a great tradition.

I just grabbed some kitchen thingie with hook at the end from the junk drawer (don’t know exactly what it was), and he used it to gouge the scars (about halfway through the pumpkin), then he used the same tool to make the thinner, shallow stitch lines across.

No carving accomplished yet but I thought I’d bump it early this year. Anybody got anything to show off?

I carved 21 pumpkins and had some Knob Creek.

Nice work, Brownski. What was the level of the Bowmore bottle after the last picture? You can't go wrong with that Scotch.

I like how the level of creativity goes up as the level in the Scotch bottle goes down!

Ha! Maybe I should drink scotch when I write stuff for Harv from now on. Can you guys tell what the one in the middle is? Just curious. A certain person is being critical of it.
