Hotel in Adirondacks or Catskills for a reunion?

xWeatherMan
I am in a group that holds a reunion every 4 years at different locations within the US, for 2016 they are looking for venues in the Adirondacks, Catskills, and Poconos. I thought folks on this forum might have some suggestions. Here is the criteria the organizers are looking at

A family friendly venue must be large enough to have conference rooms
- Offer at least 75+ regular hotel rooms
- Offer catering services
- Have a nice pool and/or lake
- Be located less than 2 hours from a major airport  (for the sake of this discussion I'll assume Albany is a major airport).
- Ideally the area would have other fun things for families and kids to do during, before or after the reunion

thanks

If you have the dough I bet the Emerson would be able to accommodate. Never been there though. Spendy.

Ridin-Hy ranch resort. I've seen many reunions take place there. I go there 3 to 4 sometimes even more times a year. A lot to do all 4 seasons.

The Sagamore fits everything on your list. It's in a beautiful location and about an hour or so from Albany.  It's expensive though.

Sags has it's own tour boat, the Morgan. A nice 70 Ft'er or so that guests can see Lake George on. I believe it's free for them.

Hope Lake Lodge has a lot to offer as well. They have a conference center, restaurant, bar, indoor water park, outdoor adventure center and a small lake. Lots to do for families. I know it's not in the Catskills or Adorondacks, but I have friends who have went to large gatherings/conferences there and really had a great time. Syracuse Airport is less than an hour away.

Yes we have taken the Morgan tour ride several times and as previously stated it is included in the resort fee. Trip is in neighborhood of 2hrs , goes into the Narrows and Paradis bay regions of Northern Lake George ....great fun

I would love to a boat like the Morgan. If I hit Lottery, I'd probably have one custom made. Great party boat.

Non guests can sail the Morgan for $20 or so. Wave as you pass Turtle.
