I don't know why I was worked up over the crappy weather we had before.  It's turned into a great season now.  Stupid me.

It's time for the north-landers to start getting a little angry.  No, there isn't really that much to complain about.  Every mountain had really good conditions before Monday's storm, which delivered for everybody.  However, more snow is always good, it's just coming in the wrong places for a lot of people.

More snow coming, a couple of shots between now and the middle of next week, and they look to be bigger events for southern areas yet again.

Glad you didn't hang up the boards for a pair of bowling shoes.  Patience is often a lesson learned.

Nobody should be "angry". This is one of the best Dec-Jan periods in recent memory. Sugarloaf is at twice its snow total from last year (55" to 110"). Other mountains are doing great, everything is skiable, and March is usually the snowiest month. Nobody in the north should be upset at all.

As for snow, it's easy to say that Mountain Creek will be open until March 29th, but maybe don't count your chickens quite yet. Let's see what kind of temps March brings (a few years ago, a string of 70-80 degree March temps and rain destroyed Gore in about a week)

Dude.....that's why I said that, no, there really isn't anything to complain about, and that conditions for all are great.  It was tongue in cheek "angry" .

Was trying to avoid quoting and emoticons.....oh, well.

As good as things are, even I get a tiny bit "frustrated"  when I see a storm dump more on Dutchess county than Essex county!  Who wouldn't like it to be even better up there?!

Their pondskimming event is scheduled for that day.  Last year it was on 3/22 a full week earlier.  They closed April 5th last year.  If they are doing pondskimming, then they need to be open.  March 29 is late for us because the snowiest month for you guys equals gully washers galore for us.

Agreed, my only hope is that it's 25 degrees through June in NYC and everything else just falls into place.
