Killington VT: 4/24/16

I had to rally for ski day 31. Drove to the Adk on Friday. Saturday I mtb'd several miles and stacked a cord of wood.  Up pretty early Sunday to drive to K to ski with the Albas. I'll tell my story tomorrow am on the blog, here are the photos I didn't use.

FKNA good skiing. Always grateful that Killington is Killington.

Hows superstar looking overall? Leaving Japan in 10 days so hoping to hit Killington for skiing by may 8th or the weekend of the 14th. Hoping the base holds up

Those bumps look sick! Not too shabby for late April after one of the worst seasons in recent history for the east. Good work Harv and Alba family! Git some. (Insert high pitch cattle rustling whistle and then a) YA!

Nice Harvey, Ray and the rest of the Albas.  I showed my little one (9 going on 10)  the pic of Supe and her response was "the bumps aren't big enough!"  Meanwhile, she broke her thumb playing lax which probably screwed up our late spring K-mart trip. We originally planned on going this upcoming weekend. She won't be cleared until the 7th or 14th.

How many more weekends do you guys think Superstar has left?

It'll definitely last 2 more weeks (Sunday 5/8).  Not sure about after that.

Doesn't look super warm coming up.

I'd think May 8 very likely, one more week after that 50/50?

Marcski... those bumps were mowed to flat overnight.  K grooms any night it goes below freezing.

They will get big fast when it warms up.

How did I miss this full report! Man, you can take great shots...

It was raining today. I think for sure mid May - maybe even longer as it will remain cool - though wet (which would make it maybe 2 weeks)..
