Baby steps... the menu will now follow you down the page on your phone.  Hope it helps.

Edit: I am bumping this up, as I heard from a forum user tonight who is still having this issue, and cache clearing did the trick:

If you are seeing weird things with the site menus, clear your cache.  If you don't know how to you can read this:

Sorry about all the down time today. It's not actually a mobile issue but I'm kind of treating this thread like the place for site issues of which there will be more in the next few weeks as we migrate The Forum.

Today's thing while I kind of blamed it on nabble was half my fault so I got to be straight about that.

Looks like Nabble is shitting the bed again tonight.  Apologies, no time to address. Will try tomorrow.

It's becoming a distinct possibility that we may have to leave 7 years of forum content behind.  The Nabble database is in something called Postgres that almost nobody uses anymore. Converting it to Mysql (what we need to move to WordPress).

We really can't stay with Nabble as they have been clear, they are getting out of this business.

I still have hope that this won't be the case, but it is becoming a real possibility.  If that is the case, members who want to continue to be members would have to join again and would start with a post count of zero.

I am also hoping that if this is the case, that no one will be more bummed than I. Like to hear anyone's thoughts on this.

I mean, Matt would be upset no longer having the ability to dig up quotes to use against Camp .....but otherwise, if losing that history is the price of continuing our community, so be it.  Minor bummer and a small inconvenience losing some of the longer standing ongoing threads, but you gotta do what you gotta do, without driving yourself nuts.

Sorry Camp no Capital M Members allowed.

Actually things are looking up, the issues we encountered were based on something boneheaded I did.

Tap targets (spaces between items on dropdown menus on your phone) have been enlarged.  Should make it easier to click the one you want.

Ok here's and odd question or five:

How many use their phone to access the forum in "landscape" or horizontal - wider than tall?

How many use their phone to access the forum in "portrait" or vertical - taller than wide?

How many use both and switch back and forth?

If you do switch, when do you do it and why?

I have a relatively small screen.  Using the iPhone SE.  (Fits in my back pocket.)  Prefer to stay in portrait mode.  But will switch to landscape if a website I really want to read for a few minutes works better than way.

My daughter only seems to switch to landscape when watching a longer video or a movie on her iPhone 6s.

Also use the SE. it remains in portrait as long as the whole page loads but sometimes a portion gets cut off and flipping to landscape usually fixes that. All my video viewing is in landscape though.
