Except for, you know, the guy who actually is currently colluding with Russia.

Also, it's possible that a lot of people (Tillerson included) wanted a reset with Russia, but then Putin did what Putin always does (authoritarian bullshit, extrajudicial killings, etc.) and people correctly realized that he was not an honest broker to be dealt with using praise and deference, i.e. the way Trump wants to handle him.

Don't you think the fact that the Russians have not faced any consequences for their actions under Trump has emboldened them?

Hillary would have implemented the sanctions passed by Congress. Hillary wouldn't have said the hacking was done by a 400 pound guy in New Jersey. Hillary would join with our allies to punish Russia and further isolate them.

Trump will do none of that, which seems to be fine with you.
