Snowing good in Monticello at 1500'. Already have 2 inches of heavy wet snow.  The different forecast were split between rain and snow in the valley this morning but radar and school closings show that it changed to snow too in areas that TWC was calling for all rain.  That should mean plenty cold enough in the 'skills to get some decent accumulation

Some beautiful snow falling in the foothills of Roxbury.

Doesn't look too bad...

Forecast on track 15 to 20 inches for the cats with 24 possible in the favored spots.  The southern dacks are on the northern fringe, I still like 6 to 10

In monticello it is dumping! Heavy wet snow, I've already heard a few limbs break.  Once that wind picks up there are going to be a lot of power outages

Wyndham, Hunter, and Bellayre are all closed due to power outages. Looks like Platty may still be open but there report hasn't been updated. Lots of freshies tomorrow!

Now do I go to Platty tomorrow Bellayre Sunday, or Bellayre tomorrow Platty Sunday...hmm

Woke up to a solid 6+ of really dense heavy snow and cancelled schools in Saratoga. It has over performed here already. Looks like the cold air saved the day and its pushing further north. We had no rain at all prior. Started snowing lightly around midnight. Hoping it stalls even more. They've extended the warning to 3AM.

Bingo.. called that one in my post yesterday. Not happy to hear this. Hoping it's not so. If true, I may be changing my name to. Cleo or Carnak.

cats getting SMOKED, 20-35 inches.  Gore is on the fringe as thought but still 6-10.  Looks like lake george is getting it good right now west toward warrensburg.

JTG4eva!
Anyone actually SKI in any of this yet?  In Dutchess Co. this morning the couple inches overnight was super wet and heavy.  School closed we left for Placid 7am.

Interesting drive.  Newburgh to New Paltz big, wet, sloppy flakes and mostly a slow go on snow covered roads.

New Paltz to Saugerties, just east of the dumpage Mike is in, it was rain, wet roads, and grass!

Heavy snow before and after Albany.  Hit the Adirondack Park and it sounded like sleety snow.  Rest of the drive was clear-ish roads low and snow covered at elevation.  Not much in Placid, but snowing steady.  Drive took an extra 45 min with some white knuckle moments, but could have been worse.

I bet Mike is done already!  Breaking trail and skiing in that heavy stuff will take a lot out of you, quickly!
We REALLY need a proper roll eyes emoji!!
