Thanks to the Forum

It's been a year since the forum was launched.

A year ago we didn't know what to expect.

I do know that we hoped to create a place where ski fanatics could share ideas, trip reports and stoke.

From my point of view, the forum has developed into something positive, and I wanted to thank everyone for their contributions.

The HR forums have a special vibe, kind of like sitting around a campfire with some friends, having a few beers, telling stories and occasionally arguing in a friendly way. Thank you, Harv, for making this happen.

OH! OH! I literally was talking to a top exec in a professional Ski Org recently. He and his comrades were rather familiar with Harvey Road. Word. Honest.
You famous internet skier, Merlot drinking skiing weatherman !    

Wait. Oh crap ! ....that probably makes me .......a famous Rascal ?  


We need to get the Catskill skiers on here....Think I'll shake that bush.

Great work Harvey I really enjoy the forum. Our favorite Catskills hill (Platt) has finally gotten the love it deserves in this forum. Keep it up and maybe more little ski hills will come to light on this site!

I like the forums...to tell the truth I sometimes forget the blog is there.

This forum is a great way to hear about what is going on up north and to share information.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the forum! Thanks Harv for all you do. I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I say the forum keeps us sane and gives us hope during the long days of summer! I know its my favorite refuge on these 90 degree days!

Wanted to re-express this sentiment.  The stuff going on in the forum gets me jazzed.

Work is overwhelming now, and it sucks that I can't ski when I want to. I'd be skiing in the rain if I could.

But every time my phone vibrates, I sneak a peak at my phone to see what y'all are posting and it makes me smile.

It's the forum's 3rd birthday this year, and I have to say thanks once again.

It's hotter than hell and man I love looking at everyone's pics.  

I'm looking through pictures as I work on the weekly season in photos thing. I move somewhat chronologically through the season in the photo series and I getting to Feb now which was the start of the best part of the winter.

I sorta missed much of the best part of the season for a bunch of reasons, only skiing maybe 6-7 days after Feb 21. It really bummed me out, but watching all the action from my desk was pretty cool in a way.
