I think there is a trail in moab called the toilet bowl that looks like that...
Thanks bud. Yeah, the slick rock around Page is very Moab-y. There’s a bigger line I’ve been eying up but I sort of chickened out this visit. Now it’s really bugging me. Gonna have to go back soon to get it.
I'm pretty sure MC has been to Elm. They are really nicely done trails. The back side has a wood platform that goes on for quite a while. Never experienced something like that before...and its dry right now Austerlitz off the Taconic has some great old school trails. Good climbs, lots of miles. lately, I've been getting into following snowmobile trails out in the finger lakes region. The trails are not as technical but you cover a lot of territory and they always lead somewhere.

I saw that. Mason cuts off two corners we’ve worked on. Not a real biggie but definitely a little annoying being a builder. He’s a good guy and probably completely unaware of his impacts. It’s not like I can say I’ve never cut corners :D.
The trails are pretty good. We’re way behind the curve as far as development goes compared to real deal destinations. That’s about to change very soon. The Heart Trail Project is just the start.
Come on out once it’s done, it’s the most beautiful work I’ve ever done.
