I was wondering if any of our Canadian friends have any idea what happened to Jian G?

If you listen to the public broadcaster (CBC = NPR, sort of), like indie music and follow arts and pop cultural news, you will know about Jian. So, he is mildly famous. He is a very good radio host. I like him most for the band he was in back in the 90s, Moxy Fruvous:

He is famous out here in WNY--Buffalo that is.  CBC radio 2 plays the best music-on in my car at all times- and CBC-TV (and CTV for that matter) is part of our cable basic packages.  Torontonians watch Buffalo TV and our public broadcasting (radio and TV) include TO as part of their territory
