Tech question - Why don't I see Jason's post "Looks like straight heavy rain" just the response to it, and a copy of it in that response?

I pulled that from his response to my “Uuugghhh....another nail biter Sunday” post a page back.  You see either of those?

Ahh-all good, makes sense now, yep see them.  Was looking for more recent......thanks for clarification.   I swear there have been times in the past that I could not find the original, hence me asking about it.   I prob didn't look far enough back.

JTG  I agree with your take on the system...Granted it's only Wednesday , but definitely not as dire as it was a day ago..Vermont looks better then the Dacks..

Looking like the snow may hang on for most if not all of the system in VT as of this writing. Hopefully it keeps trending in the right direction. Still a long ways out though.

no it's not..
the reality is there is just too much southerly flow head of the system..Like i mentioned earlier, I was planning on Kton Mon/Tue...Now it just doesn't seem worth the trip and money

That map is looking at next Wed, no?  I mentioned it yesterday, there is something creeping into the mid/late next week forecast, but anything frozen (if at all) looks to be quickly followed by warmth and wet.....surprise, surprise.  I was thinking of planning something for the weekend of 16th/17th, but even Whiteface could see mid-40s and rain the end of next week.

Hmm....I wonder how my wife would feel about me going west that weekend if I bring my son with me...

I have a free place to stay that weekend ~40 minutes from Sugarbush/MRG and Stowe. Course it will rain right before the weekend.

Headed west on the 20th, but getting a little worried...looking like things are going to go dry for the week beforehand. I'm fine with that as long as days are warm enough for some spring turns. If not....

Monday and Tuesday are looking much better today than they had in the past few runs.

i canceled my VT trip for Monday/Tue..
Winds looks very strong and cold ...not worth 500 beans it will cost..

And?...

Man up, Mike!  You really going to let super windy, 45 to 50+ degree temps, and ncp on Thurs/Fri (all the way to Tremblant) followed by a freeze on Saturday slow you down?  I’m not, I’ll be skiing........out west, hopefully, maybe.

Sure, the last couple of weekends were better than some (cough...Jason....cough) expected, but there ain’t enough lipstick in the world for the pig that is this ski weekend in the NE!
