Re: 1st day on a new ski

My first day on the Line Prophets 90 under foot (probably 4 years ago) was a good one.  Very happy w/ them and they've held up great.  85-90 is the sweet spot for the WF, well until it snows.  Then I def jack up to my cochise which are 108 under foot.

on the big days I use my Birdos which are 126 underfoot.

I go everyday on Prophet 100s. I love them.

Otherwise, high 90s underfoot is not too wide for everyday eastern skiing. It is about the design of the ski, not the width.
I agree 100%
I agree too..i have 88, but prefer 98s unless its glare ice..but then I don't like any ski.  98s are not too wide.  I used to use 102 or so k2s as everyday ski for years. But, I am also the best skier on the mountain.
