As well they should. Quality piece, A++!
This one hit on all cylinders 😢, not that your videos don’t always.... Getting gear at ski swaps (not quite lace boots, but my first pair of ski swap Head Comp SLs made me feel like Pirmin Zurbriggen even though I sucked at racing!) VVGG in the days before Mountain Crick. Kids coming off the ski leash. Bringing a bunch of HS fiends who don’t know how to ski to a Berkshires or So. VT resort (how I met my wife of 26 years at Mt. Snow). Thunder Ridge will always be Big Birch to me! (It’s Putnam not Westchester, kid!) Great skiing shots in between, but the main stuff brings home just how much skiing can shape the lives of families who have been fortunate to embrace the sport.

Way to stick with it I guess.
I fell down on my time skiing "down a hill" and I thought I was tough getting back up for more!

Thank you for watching and even taking the time to comment on this. Seriously, we really appreciate it. We know we can't compete with all the amazing ski footage out there - so we are trying to find the stories that people can relate too. So happy that people we know were willing to share their stories with us and then be OK with us making a video on that. Funny, how you met your wife.. Alicia was not a skier - she was a ballet dancer and her first day - well let's say it was hilarious. Alicia broke my skis and boots by running into me a few times on the bunny run. Out of all our friends on their first day, she was the worse. As I got new gear, she took a lesson and at the end of the day, she was skiing all over Elk Mountain. She was hooked and for me, made me very happy. After that tip, we got in 30 days - then year after year until we had our first son, we would get about 50 to 60 days a year. Taking a 10 year break from skiing sucked, though it was necessary - our oldest son was non-ambulatory due to some underlying condition and though he had a sled we made, he just got too cold. Sadly as you know he passed, though with that, I think he made us realize how to appreciate life, winter and skiing again.
