Looks like you scored some Rossi Bandits in that pile. If any of them are XX or XXXs, be sure sure to save a representative sample to ski on. Really sweet skis.
My nephew made a few chairs, they turned out pretty well. He found a pattern for a Muskoka Chair (or what you folks might call an Adirondack Chair) and went from there. Certain parts of the frame are best made out of wood. He used an angle grinder with a cutting wheel to cut the skis up, I don't think he would recommend that method to anyone. Lots of dust and random ski core fumes.
Finally finished my first chair. I like the basic design, but will make some improvements.
If anyone has skis, snow boards, or even water skis ,I'll take them if I can.
Gratitudes to anyone who I can help clean out their garage.
Harvey- any ski even water skis.
Brownski-edges were pretty dull already. I just used sand paper. It rained here the other day,I now see rust. I guess I need to wax the edges or spray a clear coat.
Thanks Brownski.
Made this with short skis.
Need longer ones for chairs. Since i'am fresh out of those i'am going to attempt to make some kind of small side table to place my adult beverages on.
I'am out of long skis so I came up with this.
I can put it out by the horseshoe pit.

It was a little chilly to stain the wood black.
It'll wait for spring.
They look swanky. I've only made 3 with skis and 1 bench from boards. Can't seem to get skis.
Oh well I'll keep building as a hobby.
Still need arm rests for one of them.
