The Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY, serves a dish called Sizzling Bacon: two very large and thick slices of bacon on a plate.  Originally for the staff, it became so popular it was added to the menu.

Did you find out if the Slater's burger uses pre-cooked or cooked bacon?

I did not find out from Slatter.

In a random sampling it's pretty much; slightly pre-cook the bacon then ground and add to hamburger...

The Bacon Flip:
Combine 1 egg, 1.5 oz. Bacon vodka, 1 oz Irish cream, and .5 oz maple syrup in cocktail shaker.  Pour into wineglass, and garnish w/ grated nutmeg.
