It’s not just New York, government tends to move crazy slow. I’ve been involved with the local advocacy group and the Forest Service for 9 or 10 years now and this season is the first one since where we can go out without forest service supervision. It’s also the first year that we got to start a project on Elden, our primary trail system. It’s been over 20 years since the last major project on that system too. it seems like the tides are about to turn though.

Yes, Hardy first then Craigwood/Luzzi you wouldn't be disappointed. also on your way up, Gurney Lane off of exit 20 in Queensbury has 20 km of old school and flow trail [mtb project/ trail forks] then the North Creek Ski Bowl  has another 20+/-km weiyh a climb that rivals All In at Hardy Rd. [mtb project /trail forks] not to forget E-Town and Blueberry Hill.

Absolutely.
Skiing is not a sport, it is a way of life.
