Took a trip to Belleayre not to long ago. Conditions were pretty good, plenty of coverage, but the natural trails are getting pretty thin. Poaching the dreamcatcher glade is possible, with no one skiing on it it should be pretty good. The only issue was the ice. For a while the temperatures were reaching the 40's in the afternoon, then dropping below 30 at night, so yeah, you could say their was some ice.

Cathedral was good, very hard pack and thin cover at some spots.
Liftline was the run of the day, the least icy out of all the runs we took.
Great Vids, not much powder on either run, the sound on both shows just how icy conditions were. I love Lifeline Glade, the pressure of skiing under the lift adds to the experience, with the shouts of encouragement from the peanut gallery.
Nice trip report, although I can't imagine riding those particular trails at this point in the season, everything ungroomed was brick hard until the afternoon on Saturday. Cathedral Brook is fun with fresh snow, and lift line glade is known for a few small rock drops, also only fun with good coverage.
The "do it!" followed by the "woooooooooo" from the lift makes landing on the hard pack worth it. Still dont understand why the liftline "glade is a glade. Bellearye seems to exxagerate there trails a little. Chippewa "glade" is actually a patch of 3 small trees in between Tongora and Bellearye run, Big T "glade" is the same way. Nevertheless its still a great mountain and I always look forward to going
In the morning Lifline was somewhat skiable, but Seneca was an ice rink. Temperatures warmed up to 40 in the afternoon with the sun working its magic on most of the trails. Ended up being a pretty solid day (no pun intended), but the scratching of the hard snow got old.
