Best band in ADK area?

Saw them at WFM for the first time last Feb, and have been fan ever since.

Are all up and comers that keep getting better every time I see them. There's a lot of good music I don't want to just pick one band. Hell there are other that I simply can't think of at 5am.

Blind owl band is good though. thye have gotten a lot better in the last year or two also

Who's playing in the LP area this weekend, 10/4, 10/5, barrng Oompah bands at WFM Octoberfest?

Lucid is still my fav!  
Jim is outstanding.
Blind Owl Band stole the show @ CrowFest this year.  IMHO
And then Bang is great.

Big Slyde and Swimming w/ Champy are very talented and will be playing @ Brew Pub this Sat - 10/5!!

Will be in the area this weekend with my wife. Sounds like you're a local. Have heard of but not seen many of these bands other than the BOB, who I've seen in the ADKs, downstate, and in ny local NJ area. I'm actually trying to get them hooked up with some contacts I have back here at home and in NYC.

Of the bands I've seen at WF, LUCID would be my fav.....they get it

Agreed with Formula 5. Great Jam band type sound with Funk and other stuff thrown in.

As you know, i am a fan of this band, based in the Saranac lake area. They play at Whiteface, Lake Placid, and through a network of 10 states including VT, NH, NJ, PA, and others.

The Blind Owl Band recently had their instruments stolen in Buffalo following a recent show. They are conducting a fundraiser to purchase new instruments. Article below:
