Bolton Valley goes the other way

Brownski
Don't know if there are any Bolton Valley folks here but I thought this was interesting since the trend seems to be towards biggering and biggering right now. These guys are moving in the other direction, going from a real estate company to a group of local investors that includes some of the original owner's family members.

Cool but make no mistake, the Deslauriers family gets into the real estate game as well. I can't say for sure but I think they built some of the time shares in Teton Village.

Well there is some truth to it, I mean they are a local family with roots in the area so that's cool. A lot cooler than if Vail bought the place!

Wish I had the gear and skill to go back country.... Bolton's BC trails connects with Trapp Family Lodge's network, which connects with Mt Mansfield nordic.

@ Brownski There would be endless opportunities.  What is also cool: today's groomed nordic trails at Mt Mansfield were the original alpine trails back in the day.  I haven't been up that way in several years, but every now and again you see someone on alpine gear returning to base on the nordic trails.

Skinning up Bolton early today - hard and fast on the way down.
