Cali baby

Just got back from a real cool trip..Coast to Mountains. We flew into SFO and drove PCH to Carmel/Monterrey. Very few words can describe the beauty. We hiked and hung out for a couple of days then drove up to Santa Cruz to meet a friend and MTB the Redwood Forrest around UC Santa Cruz. I have biked in a lot of cool places. Biking among the Red Woods is hands down the coolest riding I have ever done..Youtube  Sweetness Trail  Santa Cruz..

Next stop Lake Tahoe ( yeah I know wrong season)..We kayaked and hiked and I visited every ski area around Tahoe except for Kirwood...Yeah I know the wrong season!!

In the second pic is that the bridge that’s in the opening to Big Little Lies (which is set in Monterey)?  Still snow on the mountain at Squaw!

well yes and no..the main bridge is around the corner, there was a billion people there taking pics..no way i was going to get killed for a pic..

Yep lots of snow , and if you wanted to hike , skiing 1000 vert lines is very possible..
