Camera for snowboarding

Next month is my boyfriend's birthday and I would give him a camera to film their adventures. He makes snowboarding. Could someone point me to some good camera?

I forgot to specify, I wanted a camera that stay stuck, so he'd be hands free.

The Sony RX100 looks great as does the Canon S100, but the aren't (dedicated) video cameras or hands free.

go pro

This "go pro" looks great, but there are many types: bikes, surf, naked. I did not find any for snow  :(

Sony Just came out with one very similar to the contour
